Cajun Sausage Rice

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Rice
- 4 Cups Water
- 3 Tbs Butter
- 1 Medium Sized Brown Onion
- 1 Large Green Bell Pepper
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix
- 1 lb Smoked Sausage
Method
Step 1
Cut up Bell Pepper, Onion and Sausage into large pieces.
Step 2
In a large skillet melt butter. Saute sausage in the butter until lightly brown. Add the rice and saute until rice is slightly golden.
Step 3
Add water, onions, onion soup mix, ginger, worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Mix together.
Step 4
Allow it to come to a slight boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for approx 10 minutes.
Step 5
Add the bell pepper and cover. Continue simmering for approx 10 more minutes.
