Crunchy French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 Loaf of thick sliced bread (you can usually
  • 4 eggs
  • Cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar
  • Frosted flakes cereal

Method

Step 1

Take out two bowls. In the first bowl, beat your four eggs and sprinkle in a generous amount of cinnamon

Step 2

In your second bowl, smash up your frosted flakes cereal.

Step 3

Now, take each piece of sliced bread and dip in the egg mixture first and then place in the frosted flakes and coat. The egg will cause the flakes to stick.

Step 4

Heat up a frying pan to a medium temperature. Place the bread into the pan and cook each side for approx 2 minutes. The side will be done with the flakes begin to caramelize and turn a golden color.

Step 5

Remove the bread and sprinkle with a little bit of powdered sugar.

Step 6

Add a little dollop of butter and serve with your favorite maple syrup.
