Sautéed carrots

  • Bag of baby carrots
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 tbs crushed garlic
  • 4 tbs brown sugar


Step 1

Turn the burner on medium low setting. Melt the whole stick of butter(I didn't say it was healthy). Mix in garlic and brown sugar. You will have a moderately thick brown buttery mix.

Step 2

Put the carrots into the skillet and mix around until they are coated with the brown buttery mix. Cover the skillet with a lid and let cook for approx 30 minutes.

Step 3

Every 5 minutes or so, lift the lid and mix the carrots around. The carrots will be done when they are slightly soft. Don't over cook or they will be too soft.

Step 4

You can add additional butter and brown sugar as needed. Sometimes you need a little more. You really can't mess this one up and it tastes great.
