Ingredients

  • Skinless chicken breast strips(you can find these in the meat section of the grocery store)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup frank’s red hot sauce original (can be found at the store near the bbq sauce)
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 tbs margarine
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Method

Step 1

You're gonna need two medium sized bowls.

Step 2

In the first bowl mix the flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and paprika. In the other bowl mix the egg and milk.

Step 3

Dip each strip in the milk/egg bowl. Then dip in the flour bowl and coat all sides. Then double dip it all over again. We want to make sure to get two layers on each strip.

Step 4

Once you have coated each strip, place them on a plate and throw them in the fridge of half hour or so. This will help firm up the flour coat on each strip and will help during the frying period.

Step 5

Now, get a good sized fry pan. You're going to want it deep enough so that the oil covers the chicken strip completely. Heat the oil to a fairly high temp.

Step 6

Place the chicken strips in the hot oil and let them fry until they start to turn golden brown. This will happen in about 6-8 minutes. You can turn the strips in the oil with tong to make sure the chicken is cooking evenly.

Step 7

Put the Frank's red hot and margarine in a microwavable dish and heat for 30 sec.

Step 8

Once the chicken and sauce are done, put them in a plastic container with a lid and shake. This will evenly coat the chicken with the sauce.

Step 9

Serve and enjoy.
