vacuum cleaner bars

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 box yellow cake mix (not with pudding in the mix)
• 3 eggs
• 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
• box of powdered sugar (1 lb.)
• 1/2 cup flaked coconut
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method

Step 1

Combine the softened butter, cake mix, and 1 egg. Stir together until dry ingredients are moistened. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a well-greased 15"x10" jelly roll pan. Beat the remaining 2 eggs lightly and then beat in the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Stir in the coconut and nuts. Pour over the mixture already in the pan, spreading evenly

Step 2

Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Once cooled, cut in bars (approx 24)
