Ingredients

  • Large sweet onion
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • Soft butter spread

Method

Step 1

core out a nice little hole down to the center of the onion. It should look like a nice little onion bowl that is large enough for the bouillon cube to easily sit inside.

Step 2

Place the bouillon cube inside. Now, take the butter spread and fill up the rest of the whole. It will be like spackling the hole closed with tasty butter spread.

Step 3

Lastly, wrap up the onion with foil. Place the onion on the grill on a low heat. Let it cook for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

Step 4

When you unwrap the onion it will fall apart and taste similar to French onion soup. Trust me, people will like this and it’s a easy side dish that you don’t have to baby sit.

this sounds so good, we do onion on the grill but just with butter and wrapped in foil, this will certainly elevated it to another level. Can’t wait to try it.
